Fifteen Sycamore Ice Skating Club skaters competed at the 2017 Columbus Invitational on Sunday, Jan. 15, in Columbus, Indiana.

Sycamore ISC won the Team Trophy for earning the most combined points for all events. Skaters who placed first in an event received five points, second place received four points, third place received three points, fourth place received two points and fifth placed received one point. This is the first time Sycamore ISC has won a team award in recent history.

  • Emma Mize: 6th place in Basic Skills showcase, 1st place in Basic 3 elements, 4th place in Basic 3 program
  • Katelin Strickland: 3rd place in Basic 5 program
  • Lauren Houk: 4th place in Pre-preliminary showcase, 4th place in Preliminary Test Track
  • Madelynn Knight: 2nd place in Basic 2 program
  • Mugdha Chakrabarty: 3rd place in Basic 2 program
  • Olivia Allen: 4th place in Pre-FS/Beginner/High Beginner Showcase B, 4th place in Beginner FS A
  • Savannah Greenbaum: 3rd place in Basic 4 B
  • Sophia Allen: 3rd place in Pre-Free Skate C, 3rd place in Pre-FS/Beginner/High Beginner Showcase B
  • Tessa Mize: 3rd place in Pre-Free Skate A, 3rd place in Pre-FS/Beginner/High Beginner Showcase A, 2nd place in Pre-FS Compulsory
