Sycamore Ice Skating Club skaters won a total of 10 gold medals at the 2016 Skate Your Heart Out Invitational, hosted by the Winter Club of Indianapolis, on Sunday, Feb. 7.
- Alex Balint: 1st in high beginner free skate
- Brooke Derheimer: 2nd in pre-preliminary spins, 1st in pre-preliminary interpretive
- Caroline Schilling: 2nd in beginner free skate, 2nd in beginner/high beginner showcase, 3rd in beginner/high beginner interpretive
- Caroline Wheatley: 1st in Basic Skills showcase, 6th in Basic Skills interpretive
- Corinna Schilling: 2nd in pre-preliminary test track
- Emma Mize: 1st in Basic 1 program, 1st in Basic 1 elements
- Emma Wheatley: 4th in Basic Skills interpretive
- Enya Lind: 3rd in beginner free skate
- Kinley Mahan: 2nd in high beginner free skate, 1st in high beginner jumps
- Neta Zacharkiw: 4th in Basic 4 elements, 1st in Basic 4A program, 5th in Basic Skills showcase
- Olivia Allen: 4th in Basic 8 elements, 3rd in Basic Skills showcase, 7th in Basic Skills interpretive
- Olivia Glass: 1st in no test free skate
- Raewyn Updike: 2nd in preliminary solo dance
- Sophia Allen: 2nd in Basic 3 elements, 1st in Basic 3 program, 5th in Basic Skills interpretive
- Tessa Mize: 2nd in Basic 4 elements, 1st in Basic 4B program
Following the competition, our skaters passed the following U.S. Figure Skating tests:
- Corinna Schilling: pre-preliminary free skate, Dutch Waltz solo dance
- Ellie Price: Starlight Waltz solo dance
- Lauren Houk: pre-preliminary free skate
- Raewyn Updike: Dutch Waltz solo dance, Canasta Tango solo dance
- Sophia Dietz: pre-juvenile free skate
