Just a reminder that Sycamore Ice Skating Club is hosting a shoe drive for Soles4Souls. Soles4Souls is an organization that gives donated shoes to people in need who are living in developing countries. Our shoe drive will officially end on Monday, December 14. Until then, donation times will be every Wednesday evening from 6:45 to 8:15 p.m. and every Saturday from 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. We accept all shoes no matter their condition. Sycamore ISC will not have Learn to Skate or club sessions on Wednesday, Nov. 25, or Saturday, Nov. 28, because of Thanksgiving. We wish all of our skaters and coaches a happy Thanksgiving! Sycamore ISC coaches Ellie Price and Elizabeth Murdock each placed first and second at their events in the 2015 Buckeye Adult Open in Cincinnati on Oct. 31. Ellie placed first in the Starlight Waltz and second in the Gold FS event with a score of 24.72 points.
