Skater of the Month: Meg Strickland

Meg Strickland Age: 13 Level: Pre-preliminary Favorite element: Flip and spiral sequences Favorite skater: Michelle Kwan Favorite memory: Landing a flip because it took a very long time, and it was very rewarding when I finally landed! Why do you like skating? It’s a good thing to know how to do and it is very rewarding to master something. You are able to go at your own pace, too. Fun fact: Outside of skating I have been dancing for 9 years, and I play tennis for my middle school. Meg Strickland, one of our fantastic club members, is our January Skater of the...
