Elizabeth Murdock qualifies for championship event at Adult Nationals

Congratulations to Elizabeth Murdock, our club president and one of our coaches! This weekend, Elizabeth competed at the 2016 Midwestern Adult Sectional Championships in Colorado Springs. She placed second in Masters Dramatic Entertainment and third in Championship Masters Intermediate-Novice Ladies. By placing third in her free skate event at sectionals, Elizabeth qualified for the championship event at Adult Nationals, which will take place April 5–9 in Ann Arbor, Michigan. Congratulations,...

Lauren Houk Age: 13 Level: Pre-Preliminary Favorite element: Waltz Jump-Loop combo Favorite skater: Ashley Wagner Favorite memory: My favorite skating memory is when Olivia and I did our first duet. We dressed up like Elvis, and Stephanie choreographed “Burning Love” for us. I had so much fun doing a duet with Olivia, and we had a great time preforming it to our family and friends! Why do you like skating? I love skating because of all the new people, and friends, and that I get to express myself through skating and no matter what, I can have an elegant, soothing dance or an upbeat, bouncy one. Fun fact: I also love doing other sports like shuttle hurdles and soccer!
