Our skaters and coaches were all smiles at our annual Sycamore ISC banquet! We loved getting together at the Columns Ballroom in Greenwood today. Grace Browning was selected as the recipient of the 2019 Laughlin Award. Each year, Sycamore ISC presents the award to a club member who gives his or her time and talents to the betterment of the club while encouraging fellow members, working on individual skating skills and serving the community. We also recognized our first group of Axel Club members — Sophia Dietz, Brooke Derheimer, Liv Glass, and Tessa Mize. Landing your axel takes so much hard work and dedication and deserves to be celebrated. We’re sure we’ll have more skaters to add to the Axel Club at next season’s banquet!
